Parenting Program for Christian Families

I Corinthians 13:4-7 tells us how we are to love our children.
We are to be:
Patient, Kind, Protective, Trustworthy, Hopeful, Persevering (Long-Suffering), and to Rejoice with the Truth.
We are NOT to be:
Envious, Boastful, Prideful, Rude, Self-Seeking, Easily Angered, A Keeper of a Record of Wrongs, Delighted in Evil.
LOVE is the essence of God and of Christian Parenting.

Program Description
     The "Nurturing God's Way" Parenting Program for Christian Families is designed to be delivered in a group format.  The group consists of one or two facilitators, parents, grandparents and/or parents-to-be.
-The course is designed for twenty-one(21) two hour sessions or can be presented in a variety of ways. 21 times of consistent behavior develops a habit.
- Children can meet in a separate group at the same time as the adult session.
-Two facilitators lead the adult group and a minimum of two facilitators plus two volunteers lead the children's group.
-Pre- and Post-test evaluations assess changes in group members.
-Activities focus on family and individual growth.
Independent Study
     The Parent Handbook has been created for independent study, outside of a group setting.  In the future, parents using the Parent Handbook independent of a group-based program can mail evaluations to the Nurturing Resources, Inc. and receive comparative scoring with other parents who have taken the course etither independently or within a group setting.
