Dear Pastors,

I greet you once again in the mighty matchless name of our dear Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.  He who rules and in whom we live, breathe, and have our being.  I praise Him and thank Him for the privilege to serve. 

I wanted to send you this monthly shout-out and give you regards on behalf of President Barack Obama.  I was privileged to share breakfast with him on last Thursday (February 5th) in Washington D.C. at the annual National Prayer Breakfast.  It was an awesome three days for me.  Continue in your daily prayers for our beloved President and his beautiful family.  If you are interested in praying for our nation politicians, please go to www.prayercaucus.org

I continue to be encouraged about the Association as we continue in our efforts to glorify God by learning and growing together.  Then hopefully we some how take back what we learn and apply it to the rest of our church families.  We want to welcome and thank God for the presence of Shiloh Baptist Church, where the Rev. McAfee is the Pastor.  Thank you Pastor Shaw of Mt. Corinth Baptist Church, Cartersville for your presents as well.  I hope and pray that something was said or done that caused you to feel that the North Georgia Association is a place of fellowship, friendship, and spiritual growth.  We consider you family.  We are always here for you. 

Now let me express my thanks to Pastor Gordon Wells, the New Life of St. John Family, and the Association Staff.  We had a great time in the Lord on the last Saturday Morning.  Hopefully, by the time you receive this letter you can see the North Georgia Association on our church website.  Just go to www.lovejoybaptistcurch.org,
then click on the North Georgia Baptist Association.  We hope to branch out and use technology to advance the Kingdom of God.

Finally, let me ask you to begin praying and mentally preparing to be apart of hosting the State Convention here in the city of Rome in November of this year if it be the Lord’s will.  Vice President Nim Russell and District President Donald White will give us direction as to what we are to do to ensure we do our best to be a most gracious host for our State Brothers and Sisters.   Here’s hoping and praying to see you on the First Saturday in March (March 7th) if it’s the Lord’s will for our monthly association meeting to be held at Lovejoy Baptist Church where I am humbly grateful to serve as Pastor.
